Black House chief Ed Soares, the manager for UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, told Sherdog.com Monday that he thinks there is an ulterior motive behind Chael Sonnen’s newfound outspoken persona.

“Chael keeps talking about Anderson wearing earrings and pink T-shirts and country music hoedowns,” Soares said jokingly, proving two can play the trash talk game. “I think the guy wants to star in the next ‘Brokeback Mountain.’

Tuesday, February 9 1:34 am PT: More from Goran Reljic:

On His Improvements While in Recovery: “Things happen for a reason. I'm a much smarter athlete now than I was before. I'm not overtraining myself. I don't go crazy anymore in trainings. I know when it's time to stop in trainings. I hurt myself because I was pushing too hard. When I train I like to go 100 percent and you can't always train 100 percent. You have to look after your body. You have to look after how you recover: dieting, stretching, yoga, meditating. I do all that now. I had some good people around me back home in Croatia.
